Zephyr Point sits in a forest on the shores of Lake Tahoe at 6,200 feet in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Private beach access, views of snow-capped peaks, and over a century of history as a retreat center.

Accommodations range from hotel-style rooms to private standalone cabins. Every room is designed for rest and reflection with modern conveniences.

FAQs

✓ Arrival

Friday, March 26. Check-in at 3:00 PM. Arrive by 4:00 PM. Do not arrive before 3:00 PM — the venue cannot accommodate earlier arrivals.

✓ Daily structure

The retreat day runs 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Sessions include group instruction, guided meditation, 1-on-1 facilitation, and dedicated solo practice time.

✓ Departure

Friday, April 2. All group activities finish by mid-morning. Check out by 10:00 AM.

Before you book

✓ You must be at least 18 years old to attend.

✓ Participation requires completing a mental health screening and signing required agreements.

✓ Do not book flights or make travel arrangements until your screening is complete and your spot is confirmed. Screenings begin the week of October 19.

✓ This is a full-week retreat. Only sign up if you can attend the entire program, from March 26 through April 2. If you can't clear the whole week, please join us on a different retreat.

✓ Prices are per person and include seven nights' accommodation, all meals, access to Zephyr Point's grounds, and the full retreat program.

✓ Lake Tahoe sits at approximately 6,200 feet. Some people notice mild altitude effects like headaches or fatigue during the first day or two. Bring hydration aids and arrive well-rested if you're sensitive to elevation.

✓ Late March weather: winter giving way to early spring. Daytime highs of 45–55°F, nights dropping to 20–28°F. Snow is still possible and the ground may be icy in the mornings. All rooms and common spaces are heated. Pack multiple warm layers, waterproof boots, and outerwear for freezing nighttime temperatures.

Location

Zephyr Point is on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe, approximately 200 miles east of San Francisco. We'll share a participant-led carpool spreadsheet closer to the retreat to help you coordinate rides. You're responsible for arranging your own transport and arriving on time.
